Logic, NF, and KYLE Gave Me The Best Concert Experience Ever

Last night I watched two of my favorite artists share the stage.

Sir Robert Bryson Hall II & Nathan John Feuerstein, known to the world as Logic and NF. If you don’t know either, STOP HERE, and look ‘em up…their music is beautifully powerful.

If you know who they are, continue…

Both rappers have been a part of my life for quite some time now: NF since 2013, and Logic shortly after.

Back in 2013 I was a YouTube fiend, always searching for new collaborators. I had a YouTube channel that consisted of me throwing up prank videos left & right. To be honest, we (a group of my friends) were very successful. The thought of us as some magical group crossed our minds cause each video we mindlessly posted continuously saw a ton of fan engagement. It was this short-lived success that had me searching for other talent to place in our videos….this is how I found Nate Feuerstein.

Yes this is me circa 2012

I was big into Christian rap for a long time: Lecrae (who I got to interview at Men’s Fitness), Andy Mineo, Toby Mac.

Interview with Lecrae

I had grown up in a super traditional Catholic household so music from Eminem & 50 Cent were a no-go (at least publicly lol).

Slight op-in here, this is where I was last week. Both Eminem & 50 Cent shared the stage so I guess you can say that I’m a rebel. (:0)

Take that mom.

Shortly after I reached out to Nate on his YouTube channel, I got a reply…but I didn’t see it till years later because in that time I had left my channel to rot in YouTube wasteland. That’s amazing since now Nate is “NF,” and NF tours with some of the greatest performers of our generation.

I know, I know. FAIL. But hey, at least I learned that NF is an awesome dude & he saw a tiny atom of potential in me. And hey, didn’t a single atom did create the universe? I don’t know, did it?

(btw “Atom” is the robot pictured here)

Wow okay, first Eminem, now the Big Bang….I promise I’m not that far from my Christian roots — I love you Jesus.

Okay I’m off-topic, here’s the rest of the story in a nutshell:

NF brought me to Eminem (shocker :0), Eminem brought me to Logic cause he curses too (but really because both talk about REAL shit), then when I heard The Incredible True Story and Bobby TarantinoLogic became an idol. Fast forward to yesterday – NF climbed up a cage, Logic beat some poor kid in the video game Street Fighter…and also managed to spit a few bars IN THE BEST LIVE PERFORMANCE I’VE EVER BEEN A WITNESS TO!

Moral of story, thank you Kaitlin Zammit, my lovely girlfriend, for an awesome surprise – thank you NF for believing in me years ago & for inspiring me to live – thank you Logic for flooring me with your natural self. Time to watch Incredibles. (Random plug, but it premieres TONIGHT!)
