Eagles Fans (Who Else) Tipped Viking Statue Into Schuylkill River

Eagles play the Vikings Sunday, and a few Philly fans got a little too excited. Check this out.

What is it? It’s a statue of a Viking that’s been in place along the Scugle River since 1920 half-submerged under water.

Everyone is in an uproar!

jk…well, at least non-Eagles fans that is. Remember last January?

Listen, I’m not an Eagles fan but I think it’s kind of hilarious…hilarious these vandals will totally get off because well…it’s Philly.

Damn Brian, chill bro. Why am I pissed?

I was part of a secret society at a New Jersey university where we planned elaborate pranks with teddy bears & magnets, pissed off a Super Bowl-winning head coach after getting featured on ESPN, and for that we got kicked out of Northern New Jersey. (Though how they monitor that I honestly don’t know).

Which begs an honest question…when you strip at a baseball game & they “kick you out of the stadium for life,” how does that even work? Do people really give a shit enough to assign a security guard tasked with keeping your face out of the arena? What if I wore a mask, or grew a beard, or have an “identical twin?”

Either way, we got kicked out of an area in New Jersey for something the local police chief deemed “the funniest thing he’s ever seen on call.”

This recent statue-tipping is okay, but dare bring a smiling stuffed animal to a football field with a nicely-crafted letter wishing a university well…and you sir have crossed the line.

Nah man.

Sorry Eagles fan, I rooted for ya’ll in Super Bowl…but you have officially lost your shit & partied too hard in celebration. The Eagles are not the team they showed in the 2018 Playoffs, and though still the best team in the NFC East…I hope you eat your ring.

Eagles fans rise!

It’s me.
