‘Phil of the Future’ Is 14 Years Old Today!

Okay, this post will be real short.

I just wanted to express my deepest emotions as I just found out from my millennial coworker that Disney’s Phil of the Future was released 14 years ago – to the day. Wow.

This show made my childhood, and taught a young impressionable kid to dream.

Remember Phil? The time-traveling kid from the future who goes on vacation with his family & gets trapped in the past (our present), then falls in love with…

Remember Keely?

Remember Lloyd & Barbara & Pim?

Remember Caveman Curtis? (Who most likely spawned those crazy “it’s so easy a caveman can do it” Geico commercials)

Damn, time flies. And in Phil Diffy’s case, most literally.

I mean where did those 14 years go? I wish I could time travel and get stuck in 2004.

I was 10 (FINALLY double digits), Incredibles was out (and you know how much I love this movie), Phil of the Future was out, the Mars Rover landed on Mars, Friends had its finale, Lost premiered, Ken Jennings destroyed Jeopardy! (remember that guy?), the Janet Jackson nip slip (don’t judge).

…RIP 2004 *tears*

Seriously, remember this guy?
